Reinforcement of the Projects Social Policy in Ivory Coast

In the frame of the joint development platform IFC/Gaia Energy in Africa and of the expansion of an ambitious renewable energy program for Ivory Coast, Mr Moundir Zniber et Mr Alain Kerboriou, respectively President and C.E.O of Gaia Energy, came to Abidjan for high level meetings.

Sharing a same vision of sustainable development in Africa, namely the integration of the social, environmental and economical aspects around the developed projects, the IFC/Gaia Energy platform claims that this approach represents a factor of success for the development of the African continent.

In this regard, some meetings with Mrs Mariatou Kone, Minister of the Solidarity, of the cohesion and of the fight against Poverty, and with Mr Siama Bamba, Vice President of the Assembly of the Districts and Regions of Ivory Coast, allowed to setup the main bases of a deep reflexion on the reinforcement of the social aspect and the local integration of the projects.

Renforcement de la politique sociale des projets en Côte d’Ivoire

Dans le cadre de la plateforme commune IFC/Gaia Energy en Afrique et du développement d’un programme renouvelable ambitieux pour la Côte d’Ivoire, Mr Moundir Zniber et Mr Alain Kerboriou, respectivement Président et Directeur Général de Gaia Energy, se sont rendus à Abidjan pour des rencontres de haut niveau.

Partageant une vision commune du développement durable en Afrique, à savoir l’intégration des aspects sociaux, environnementaux et économiques autour des projets développés, la plateforme IFC/Gaia Energy affirme que cette approche représente un facteur de succès pour le développement du continent Africain.

A cet effet, des rencontres avec Mme Mariatou Kone, Ministre de la Solidarité, de la Cohésion et de la Lutte contre la Pauvreté, et avec Mr Siama Bamba, Vice Président de l’Assemblée des Districts et des Régions de Côte d’Ivoire, ont  permis de poser les bases importantes d’une réflexion de fond sur le renforcement du volet social et de l’intégration locale des projets.
