Gaia Energy Holding is a leading independent large scale renewable energy developer in Africa, headquartered in Morocco. While adopting the highest international technical standards, Gaia Energy is the first African company having a prevalence in 10 energy markets under development. Gaia offices gather a multicultural team of 40 experienced staff members. The core mission of Gaia Energy is to develop, finance, and bring to COD large scale, renewable energy projects in emerging markets.

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, has forged a new partnership with Gaia Energy to create a joint platform for the development of wind power and other renewable energy projects in Africa. The new joint platform will start with a pipeline of 22 projects in nine countries in North, West and East Africa, representing a pipeline under development of more than 3 gigawatts. Originally developed by Gaia Energy, this pipeline will be progressively enlarged to new countries across the continent. In this context, Gaia Energy recruits an Administration Assistant in Ghana.



  • Holder of a Bachelor +4/+5, you have an experience of at least 5 years in a similar position
  • Excellent skills in oral and written expression, in French and English
  • At ease with administrative procedures and informatic
  • You are organized, rigorous, autonomous, flexible, proactive, dynamic, with a commercial spirit
  • Excellent mastery of Microsoft Office tools and Google for work
  • You have experience in opening special project companies and make the administrative following
  • You are rigorous in your reportings and accountings
  • You are capable of working with a team from distance and to organize your work
  • You are capable of organizing meetings and to report the content
  • You respect the level of confidentiality of the information and files shared with you


  • Opening special project companies
  • Make the administrative and accounting follow up of the special project companies
  • Classify and store the administrative and accounting documents
  • Work in collaboration with a technical profile for the obtention of permits
  • Accounting expenses and elaborating budgets
  • Drafting and following documents, contracts, payments etc
  • Taking in charge the editing of the quotations, purchase orders and recoveries
  • Organize meetings with different stakeholders
  • Reporting of the meetings and development activities
  • Work from distance with the headquarters in Morocco
  • Support in the drafting of documents
  • Identify and list consultants
  • Identifier et lister des bureaux d’étude
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing calls
  • Analyze, identify and follow up of the opportunities through contacts, medias etc..
  • Build and maintain the position of the company in the renewable energy market
  • Managing the agenda of the top management during their visits in the country
  • Plan the collaborators trips
  • Prepare the outgoing mails of the management
