Gaia Energy is a multidisciplinary team of around forty professionals embedded across our operating markets in Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. We are not a headquarters company. Our people work on the ground — in Morocco, Ghana, Kenya, Thailand, the UAE and beyond — directly alongside governments, utilities, lenders and industrial partners in the markets where our projects get built.

We recruit people who combine technical depth with market instinct. Who understand that building bankable energy infrastructure in emerging markets requires both institutional rigour and local intelligence. Who are comfortable with complexity, ambiguity and the pace of development-stage platforms.
We value experience across the full energy infrastructure development cycle — but we are equally interested in people who bring deep expertise in a specific discipline and want to apply it in markets that matter.
The Profiles We Look For
Project Development — site origination, permitting, grid connection, stakeholder management
Project Finance — financial modelling, debt structuring, DFI engagement, equity placement
Engineering & Grid Integration — resource assessment, basic design, technical due diligence
Environmental & Social — ESIA, IFC Performance Standards, community engagement
Business Development — partnership origination, government relations, offtake structuring
Digital Infrastructure — data center development, fiber connectivity, sovereign digital programmes
